Revised Summer on the Square schedule.

There have been changes to the performance line-up.

We are excited to have several new groups this year including the Sharp Shooters on August 7th, the May Belles on August 14th and the Salt River Band on August 28th.

Fully Loaded will be performing at Friday's Summer on the Square concert. Shelby is one of the area's top vocalists. We love to hear her sing.

The concert begins at 7 pm on the beautiful Adair County Courthouse lawn. Join us for an enjoyable evening of great music!

Board member, Ben Beard recently purchased this beautiful painting by Clara Straight and has decided to display it in the Clara Straight Conference Room for everyone to enjoy.

When you're visiting the Sue Ross Arts Center make a point to go to the conference room on the mezzanine level and see all the beautiful artwork on display in there.

Bohemian Folk Barn Quilts will be leading a workshop to paint a barn quilt on Saturday June 27th at the Sue Ross Arts Center. There will be 75 colors to chose from and lots of beautiful designs.

Odessa Ofstad has generously donated two beautiful Clara Straight paintings to the Kirksville Arts Association.

The paintings are now on display in the Clara Straight Conference Room on the mezzanine level of the arts center.

We appreciate Mrs. Ofstad's generosity and also want to thank Carol Benevento for delivering the paintings to the art center.

The next time you visit the Sue Ross Arts Center be sure to visit the Clara Straight Conference Room and see the beautiful artwork on display. We have a very nice variety of different subjects painted by Clara.

Renewed will be bringing their Southern Gospel music to Summer on the Square this Friday, June 12th at 7 pm. Join us for inspiring music from this gospel group that has been performing in this are for decades.

The concert will be held on the Adair County Courthouse lawn, bring your lawn chairs and enjoy a great evening of gospel music.

Have you visited the "I'll Fitting is Still Fitting" exhibit in the Gaber Gallery? Danielle Yakle has brought a unique and very fun exhibit to us . It runs til June 30th.

We are open weekdays 11am to 4pm and Saturdays 10am to 2pm.

The reception on June 5th for "Far Traveled A Retrospective Exhibit", for artist Catherine Maloney was attended by her former students, old and new friends. She gave a very interesting Artist Talk about her evolution as an artist.
