Today, we’re asking you to open your heart for a tiny soul who has already endured more than most ever should.
Meet Stormy — a six-month-old white and gray, medium-haired kitten who quite literally should not be alive.
Stormy was found in the middle of an interstate in a horrific situation. It is believed she was intentionally abandoned there… left to be hit by a car. But somehow, this little girl has an angel watching over her. A Good Samaritan witnessed everything, stopped in the middle of traffic, and risked her own safety to save Stormy’s life.
That single act of kindness changed everything.
The rescue she was brought to reached out to Jet’s, and without hesitation — we said yes. Because how could we not?
But Stormy needs more than love right now. She needs a miracle.
She is only six months old and weighs just 2 pounds — less than half of what she should be. Her tiny body is fighting so hard, but she is facing severe medical challenges:
💔 A severe abscess in her eye that will most likely require surgical removal
💔 A painful umbilical cord ulcer she has been suffering with since birth
💔 Risk of septicemia (a bloodstream infection caused by bacteria spreading through the body) and sepsis (a life-threatening condition where the body’s response to infection can cause organ failure and death) if not treated immediately
Despite all of this… she is still here. Still fighting.
We are committed to giving Stormy every chance at life — but we cannot do it without you.
