Have you gotten your spring Bobcat gear? Don’t wait and head to the Twain Spiritwear online store is open through this Friday, April 4th (store closes at 11:59PM).

Sizes available for youth and adults. Orders will be delivered to your child's classroom in late April/early May.

Put on those gardening gloves! Farming Friday/Plant a Seed is coming to Twain on Friday, April 25th. We will have tables set up of plant and pollinator information, (with an observational bee hive!), as well as tables where kids will get to plant two seeds of their choice of edible plants!

We are looking for volunteers to help with Farming Friday/Plant a Seed! Kindergarteners at 10:30AM and all other grades during their lunch recesses. Volunteers will be either assisting with setting up/cleaning up and assisting kids in their planting process! (A dedicated beekeeper will run the observational beehive/pollinator table!)

A huge thank you to everyone who joined Sew A Stuffy on March 6th! It was wonderful seeing so much creativity and teamwork as we stitched adorable stuffed animals.

Twain Staff, Parents, and Caregivers! Get ready for a fun and relaxing evening of kid-free conversation, community, and creativity.

Join us this Friday, March 21st from 6-8:30PM for snacks, mocktails, and painting (you will get to choose from 2-3 canvas images). This is a great chance to connect with other parents and staff and let your inner artist shine.

We can’t wait to see you there! (And remember, this event is for Mark Twain Elementary staff, parents, guardians, and caregivers only—let’s make it a night to remember!)

Calling All 5th Grade Families! We are planning a very special page in the yearbook for our 5th grade students, featuring their baby OR kindergarten photos! Please submit ONE photo of your student as either a baby or a kindergartener so they can be featured in the yearbook!

Please make sure your student's name is included with your photo submission. The deadline to be included in the yearbook is Friday, March 28th!!

To submit your photo:
- Visit the website YBKPIX.com and find Mark Twain Elementary in the list of schools.
- You will then create a log-in account (if you have shared photos for the yearbook in the past, you already have an account).
- After logging in, you'll be able to click a link to share photos.
- Select the folder named "5th Grade Baby and Kindergarten Photos" from the list and upload your photo.

Please ONLY SUBMIT ONE PHOTO. You may also send your photo to the yearbook at [email protected].

🌟 Join Us as a Parent Leader for the Mark Twain Choir After School Program! 🌟

We're looking for a dedicated parent leader to help coordinate our choir program this spring. Responsibilities include:
* Being the main contact for weekly parent chaperones.
* Sending reminders to volunteers.
* Coordinating backup chaperones if needed.
* Stepping in when both main and backup volunteers are absent.
* Assisting with Q&A about program rules.
* Reminding the ASP Team Lead and program provider of important dates and communications.

**Note: If you can chaperone each week of the program, you won't need to worry about the listed responsibilities above AND you will receive a complimentary registration for your child in the program! 😊

New this year! We are taking your donations of used Twain spirit wear and reselling them to raise funds for PTSA programs.

Bring in your old spirit wear that you no longer want, need, or fit into so that someone else can give it a second life! Drop off to the collection bin in the front office during the week of March 17th-21st.

We will resell donated items at our vintage spirit wear sale on March 26th & 27th. This will be held under the covered area after school-dismissal on both days.

Looking for something new? Our online spirit wear sale will be March 24th-April 4th.
