Kirkland Youth Council is a community of youth leaders involved in Kirkland government, community service, and youth leadership. The members are empowered to provide a voice for youth in the local community. This year, Kirkland Youth Council has been working on a Kirkland Needs Assessment survey to gauge youth voice in matters pertaining to social justice, education, youth voice, substance abuse, and mental health. As such, the council has completed a survey for local youth to voice their opinions in. The survey is completely anonymous and will take anywhere from 10 to 15 minutes. A community service hour is offered, with instructions given upon the completion of the survey.
