With elevated HeatRisk in the orange category in the forecast, KCRHA is activating tier 2 severe weather protocols, in accordance with our Severe Weather Policy, from Monday, June 22, through Tuesday, June 23, winding down the morning of Wednesday, June 24.

If the forecast shifts, they may extend the activation.

Severe Weather Shelter Navigation Hotline: (206) 245-1026 – Available 7:00 am – 10:30 pm daily during severe weather activations.

Anyone can use this hotline during severe weather activations for information on shelters and navigating to shelter locations.

Families with children can call to be connected with a shelter and a ride to that location, as available.

This Juneteenth, we honor freedom, recognize the strength and resilience of Black communities, and recommit ourselves to building a future where everyone truly belongs.

We are grateful to partner with organizations like Eastside For All, whose annual Juneteenth celebration creates space to honor history, elevate culture, and strengthen community connections.

Through local vendors, cultural performances, storytelling, and learning opportunities, the event reminds us that belonging is built when people come together to recognize and value one another's experiences.

At Friends of Youth, we know that supporting young people and families goes beyond services. It means helping create communities where youth feel seen, valued, connected, and empowered to thrive. Partnerships like those with Eastside For All help make that vision possible.

🌟Bridge Pointe Housing | A Healing Place for Young Adults Transitioning from Inpatient Treatment 🌟

Friends of Youth, in partnership with the Washington State Health Care Authority (HCA), has launched Bridge Pointe Housing, a program for young adults (18 - 24) exiting inpatient behavioral health care and at risk of homelessness. We offer 24/7 staff support and comprehensive services, including case management, behavioral health care, psychiatric support, and peer counseling.
