Juanita and Totem Lake residents -- MetroFlex may be the on-demand, low-cost transit option that you need to connect with bus routes or to destinations within much of the northern part of Kirkland. You pay the same price as you would for a bus ticket ($3 regular, $1 reduced rate, or it's free for 18 and under).
The MetroFlex minivans will bring you to shopping centers, to meet friends, to an appointment – whatever your transportation needs are.

During a beautiful evening on the patio of Mia Cafe and Wine Bar, we had lots of great conversations with Juanita-area neighbors again at our social this month. (We also saw lots and lots of emergency vehicles rushing past to Juanita Beach and Finn Hill - many thanks to Kirkland's hard-working emergency workers!) Thanks everybody who dropped in to chat!

Thank you to the volunteers with City Fruit who helped prune apple trees at McAuliffe Park yesterday. It was great to connect with neighbors while helping to care for this beautiful Juanita park. City Fruit hosts seven events per year here (plus lots more elsewhere). They harvest about a hundred thousand servings of fruit for local food banks each year! 🍏🍎🍏
