Our hearts are still full.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who joined us for "The Romanian Nutcracker" and for the incredible support you showed this production, from the very first announcement to the final curtain call. Seeing a sold-out house and nearly 500 people gathered to share this story with us was truly overwhelming and deeply humbling.

This show was built on curiosity, imagination, tradition, and a lot of trust that this story would resonate, that folklore could feel fresh, and that a re-envisioned Nutcracker could find a home in your hearts. Your presence, energy, and enthusiasm in the audience brought that vision fully to life.

Thank you for celebrating with us, for sharing the event with friends and family, and for filling the theater with warmth, joy, and winter magic.

Behind every magical moment on stage, there are people quietly making sure it lives on.

We are incredibly grateful to Marius Photography & Video, a local family-run photo & video team who are generously donating their time, talent, and equipment to capture our Romanian Reimagined Nutcracker. From rehearsals to curtain call, they are helping preserve not just images, but memories, effort, and love poured into this show by dancers of all ages.

As Datina prepares to welcome audiences into a reimagined world where Hoffmann’s story becomes beautifully, boldly Romanian, we’re excited to offer an extra touch of magic leading up to the big night. ✨🇷🇴

Before the premiere of the Romanian Nutcracker, step into an enchanting visual experience: an exhibition of authentic, museum-quality Romanian folk costumes, curated by Doria, a Transylvanian-born collector of cultural textiles.

Remember when you said, “That was your best show yet”? It’s been two years since we last hit the stage, and we’ll admit, we’ve missed the thrill and even the panic that comes with it. So, we’ve slipped back into the rehearsal room and started stirring the pot again, cooking something beautiful, ambitious, with just the right amount of insane.

Will it happen? We hope so. Should you save 𝐒𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟐𝟎𝐭𝐡, 𝟓–𝟕:𝟑𝟎 𝐏𝐌 in your calendar? Absolutely! If we pull this off, you’ll want to be at the 𝐑𝐞𝐝𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐀𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫.

For Datina, attending and opening this concert with one of our favorite dance suites was a dream come true—an experience that will stay with us for a long time. We felt Povestea Dorului from our bones to our veins! 💃🕺
