Kirkland IL Food Pantry The Kirkland Food Pantry is open every Tuesday from 12:00 to 2:00 PM. Church and community volunteers keep the pantry running. Masks are now optional.

A joint ministry of the Kirkland Methodist and Lutheran churches it is located in the lower level of the Lutheran church. The Kirkland Food Pantry is a joint ministry of the Kirkland Methodist and Lutheran churches. It is housed at the First Lutheran Church. The pantry is run by volunteers from the churches and other members of the community. The pantry is open every Tuesday from 12:00 to 2:00 PM.

Residents of Kirkland and the surrounding area who need assistance providing food for their household are encouraged to visit the pantry. There is a good selection of non perishable food items as well as frozen meats, dairy products, bread, bakery items and produce. Social distancing is still encouraged and additional cleaning protocols are in place. For those with concerns about coming inside food can be brought out to your car. Looking for a couple of volunteers to help tomorrow, Tuesday 5/19/26, between 12 and 2 PM! The job involves carrying bags of groceries up stairs and loading them in to cars. Message the pantry if you can help out. Thank you!
