Save the Cowboy reaches the western lifestyle community through weekly sermons, podcasts, videos, and social media. What exactly is Save the Cowboy? We are a 501c3 Non-Profit Religious Organization that introduces the Good News through the life of the working ranch cowboy. We do this through social media, speaking engagements, STC's Long X Ranch, philanthropy, and feeding the hungry. The cowboy va

lues of Courage, Honor, Respect, Integrity, Strength, and Truth are vastly needed in today’s world of materialism and selfishness. Save the Cowboy has a working cattle ranch in Kiowa, Colorado where we teach and promote the agriculture industry and introduce people to what it truly means to be a cowboy. The beef that the ranch raises is supported by our Long X Ranch monthly donators, where 100% of the donated funds goes towards the ranch operations to feed the hungry, one package of high-quality beef at a time, and help change lives. If you would like to find out more about becoming a LXR Cowboy, visit: www.savethecowboy.org and click "Become A Long X Ranch Cowboy." Kevin is the founder and preacher of Save the Cowboy, which he started in 2011. A lifelong cowboy himself, Kevin grew up in rural Texas and understands the challenges of modern-day ranch life. He preaches about faith, integrity, and resilience, often using real-life cowboy stories that his audience can relate to. His hard work has gained a following among rural and ranching communities, becoming one of the most recognized names in cowboy ministry in the Unites States. The reason for that is Kevin's messages from God appeal most to those seeking a rugged, and more relatable approach to Christianity. Because of this, Weatherby's success with the Save the Cowboy ministry, has quickly turned into an online following of over 200,000 with 7,000 weekly watchers of his sermons, also including the in-person attendance in Kiowa each week. We'd love for you to become one of them and ride along with us. Save the Cowboy also supports two missionary organizations: An orphanage in Mexico and a school in Guatemala. There are four ways you can get involved with Save the Cowboy.

1. Be actively involved in our online ministries
Every time you like, comment, or share, you are helping us spread the word of God. Join us live on FB every Sunday morning at 9:30 am MST to hear Kevin Weatherby encourage, motivate, and give you the God's honest truth about how you can become who God wants you to be. You can download our mobile app

2. Come see us in person
We invite you to come ride with Kevin Weatherby and the Long X Ranch cow boss, Ty Weber. Bring your horse and help out on the ranch and stay for a Sunday clinic. You will make friendships that will last a lifetime. For more info, email [email protected]

3. Go on a vision trip to Mexico or Guatemala
We don't call it a mission trip. We call them vision trips because your heart cannot feel what your eyes do not see in person. Every cowboy and cowgirl that goes on one of these vision trips comes back with a clearer picture of their own lives and just how much giving to someone in need fills the need inside of us. For more information on a vision trip, email [email protected].

4. Be a financial giver
I'm just going to be honest in case you didn't know...size matters. Not the size of the donation, the size of your heart. We rely 100% on the donations of cowboys and cowgirls to help change lives. Founder Kevin Weatherby has written 9 books and all the proceeds from 8 of the books goes directly to the ministry. The other went to help his family adopt two special needs children. Every dollar that comes into Save the Cowboy goes towards the outreach ministry, Long X Ranch, orphanage, and school. You can change a life here: https://pushpay.com/pay/savethecowboy

Agreeing with God isn't obeying Him. Real fruit grows just one way β€” doing it His way. 🀠

I asked Eric one day if he was going to get himself a cowboy hat.

He said, "I feel like that's something you earn β€” and I haven't earned anything."

I told him, "You just did."

The man who's sure he hasn't earned his place is usually the one who already belongs.

Grace hands you the hat and calls you family.

That's the secret God kept under His hat for four thousand years. Not one prophet saw it coming β€” that He'd take outsiders, folks with none of the right blood or the right brand, and not just let them in the gate but sit them at the table as full heirs.

"And here is the mystery, plain: through the good news, the outsiders β€” everybody who was never part of Israel β€” are full heirs right alongside them. Same body. Same promise. Same Christ Jesus." Ephesians 3:6 SCV

Here's the deep part. In the Bible a "mystery" isn't a riddle you're supposed to crack. It's a secret that can't be discovered at all β€” it can only be told. You were never going to figure your way into this family. Somebody had to come tell you that you're already wanted.

Grace hands you the hat and calls you family.

Today: quit standing at the fence waiting till you've earned your way in. You haven't. That was never the deal. Take the hat.

Let's pray: Father, like a man too humble to claim a hat he'd already earned, we keep standing outside a family You already adopted us into. Thank You for telling us the secret β€” that we're heirs, not hired hands. Now help us wear it. Amen.

No hoarding. No backup plan except me. You don't set the pace or pick the trail β€” you learn to ride behind me. That's all Christianity is: trusting God every single day and following Him, whether He leads you to the best place on earth or the scariest. 🀠

He wasn't the strongest, the smartest, the richest, or the biggest. David was the greatest king who ever lived for one reason: he gave everything to God. Wonder what God could do with you if you did the same. 🀠

As a kid in Coyanosa, I was performing the sacred country rite of burning the trash when the wind came up.

Told my brother it was "just right by the barrel." Jason looked out the window, said some words I won't repeat, and bolted.

Two cotton trailers went up in thirty-foot flames. The fire department turned around and went home.

Standing there watching it burn, Jason asked, "What do we do now?"

I said, "I guess be thankful we don't have to deal with two tons of tumbleweeds β€” and wait for the new growth."

A burned pasture ain't a dead pasture.

That's the whole gospel in a grass fire, right there. The week they buried Jesus, every disciple was staring at a burned pasture. Then Sunday came:

"But here's the truth: Christ has been raised from the dead, the first of a great harvest β€” and all who belong to him will follow." 1 Corinthians 15:20 SCV

The deep part: "first of the harvest" isn't a figure of speech β€” it's a feast. God told Israel to bring the FIRST sheaf of the harvest to him on the day after the Sabbath β€” Sunday β€” as the guarantee the rest of the field was coming. Jesus rose on that exact feast day. He's the first sheaf. You're the field.

Tomorrow's Sunday. Come see what grows after a fire β€” 9:30, Elbert County Fairgrounds.

Let's pray: Father, when all we can see is the burn, remind us you're already counting the harvest. And thank you for irrigated cantaloupe fields. Amen.

Customs, traditions, and even styles of worship can change β€” but the word of God does not. The kings of northern Israel kept a 210-year tradition of worshiping golden calves, and not one of them ever turned from it. What's more important to you: tradition or truth? 🀠

She killed every heir to David's throne β€” and missed one baby. The entire line of David, the promise that led straight to Jesus, rested on one helpless child hidden in the temple. When God makes a promise, He keeps it β€” and nothing can stand in the way.
