This is Allen Turner. This young man appeared out of nowhere today during our organization's first attempt at assisting with parking at the Lenoir County Fairgrounds for the Renaissance Faire.

Let me tell you how awesome this young man was. He came up to me and asked if we needed any help, We told him he was welcome to. As we sent the vehicles his way, he handled it with a sense of pride that I didn't expect.

This young man is 18 years old, an Eagle Scout and just genuinely sincere. Young men like these are gems. It's refreshing to see that today.

Our organization will be entering our second day of parking attendance tomorrow If you would like and are available to help tomorrow, please meet at the fairgrounds parking lot at 730am and learn more about what our organization does to help build our community, veterans and friends of veterans are welcome to help as well as part our organization.

Dear Community Members,

We are thrilled to announce the addition of a remarkable young volunteer to our team at G.I. Joe's Military " Living History" Museum, a proud project of Salute-A Tribute to America's Veterans . Please join us in welcoming Danny "Duke" Webb, III!

Duke is the son of Katie and Danny Webb, Jr. of Kinston, and he is currently a freshman at North Lenoir High School. His impressive involvement in school activities includes being a member of DECA, the Golf team, and the county's robotics team. With aspirations of attending the United States Air Force Academy, Duke is already demonstrating a deep understanding of military history and a commitment to the values that define future leaders of our nation.

Coming from a distinguished lineage of military service, Duke embodies the spirit of dedication and excellence that we cherish at our museum. We are excited to support him on his journey and are confident that he will inspire others in our community.

We invite all of you to visit the museum on Saturdays, from 9am to 4pm to meet Duke and explore the rich history we celebrate. Your support means the world to us and to young leaders like Duke as they pursue their dreams.

Thank you for being a part of our mission to honor and remember the sacrifices of our veterans. We look forward to seeing you at the museum!
