Meet Wubete, a fistula survivor who helped inspire Healing Hands of Joy's rehabilitation work! During a recent visit to Mekelle Hamlin Fistula Center, HHOJ Co-Founder Allison Shigo (left) ran into Wubete (right), whose story she helped document in "A Walk to Beautiful" almost 10 years ago. Wubete's story and her struggles to survive after her fistula surgery influenced Allison to begin her journey to found HHOJ. Wubete visited our Mekelle Training Center this week to share her story with fellow fistula survivors and update us on her life. Fistula survivors like Wubete are the reason we are committed to and in !

Kinston Women of Vision was blessed to be a part of this Jobs for Life session at The GATE! Thank you to all who were a part of the prayer team, graduation dinner and graduation gifts! It was a great night of celebration of the achievements of these dedicated students.

Kinston Women of Vision welcomed Sandy Quinonez, Executive Director of EPIC, Karen Outland, EPIC Kinston, and Theresa Beverly, EPIC Kinston, to our spring meeting. We were blessed to hear about the wonderful ministry they provide at the center. Coming up March 29th, we will have a baby shower at the center with gifts benefiting EPIC.
