Join us for Beyond the Page: Journals, Memory & Imagination as artist, writer, and educator Angela R***r shares how ordinary papers, fabrics, and found objects become one-of-a-kind journals filled with memory, imagination, and possibility.
Angela R***r holds a B.A. in English, an M.A. in English, and an M.F.A. in Creative Writing (Fiction) and teaches composition and creative writing at East Carolina University.
She's been writing for one reason or another most of her life, and her short stories have appeared in Re*****on Review, Footnote: A Literary Journal of History, and several Owl Hollow Press anthologies.
Angela loves all things spooky and vintage, and she's a self-described "crafting butterfly," happily flitting between sewing, knitting, cross-stitch, and creating imaginative junk journals whenever inspiration strikes.
Whether you're a writer, artist, memory keeper, traveler, or simply curious, you'll leave inspired—and with a journal that's uniquely your own.
