Wade Mayfield Memorial Fund Established to recognize the achievements of outstanding 4-H & FFA members in agricultural activities in Preston County.

The Wade Mayfield Memorial Fund was established in memory of Wade Mayfield, an outstanding young man who lost his life in a tragic automobile accident October 2, 1987. Throughout his short life, Wade was an inspiration to all he met. especially to the youth who knew and associated with him. He was a living example of what most young Americans should strive to be. This was evident by his dedication to 4-H and FFA, school and church activities.
