The Pulmonary Fibrosis Association's (PFA) Annual CornHolloween had a new partner this year in our local H-E-B at Northpark and Hwy 59. This was a wildly popular new addition to the tournament in the form of a Pumpkin Patch for kid's! With the addition of pumpkin face stickers, kid's could choose a pumpkin from the patch, decorate them and take them home from the tournament. We are thrilled to have H-E-B helping us ship oxygen to patients in need! In the midst of the activities yesterday, we had 5 different families come talk to us during the tournament who had family members with PF and one gentleman that was currently battling PF that just happened to be in town from San Antonio!!

Thank you, H-E-B for helping PF patients get the oxygen they require to get through the day AND for making all the lil punkins at the tournament happy with your pumpkins!!

We are proud to offer two brand new PFF education materials about lung transplants. In these booklets, you'll learn about how to prepare for a lung transplant, and what to expect after a lung transplant.

Both materials are available for download at pulmonaryfibrosis.org/education. Hard copies to order will be available soon.

The PFF Summit is a great conference for all things PF and this year it's being held in Texas! See this post for all the info.

Registration for 2019 is now OPEN!

Join the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation in San Antonio, Texas from November 7-9 at the JW Mariott San Antonio Hill Country Resort. The PFF Summit is unlike any other pulmonary fibrosis conference, because the Foundation welcomes everyone who has been impacted by the disease, including patients, caregivers, transplant recipients, and those who have lost a loved one. The goal of the Summit is to foster a collaborative environment to improve education and awareness of PF and to identify new approaches to treat, and ultimately cure, this devastating disease.
