Helping Oppressed People Everywhere HOPE's purpose is to demonstrate genuine love and care in serving disadvantaged children and families

HOPE is a faith-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit established in 2019. Our purpose is to demonstrate genuine love and care in serving at-risk children and families by meeting short- and long-term needs while providing sustainable interventions. To accomplish this, HOPE partners with established local organizations embedded in the communities they support, selecting partners that have built trust and rappo

rt in their localities through personal relationships, dependable service, and longstanding, successful programs. Our goal is to partner with and invest in these local organizations already doing effective work, thereby extending their reach and resources. HOPE currently has projects in Romania, South Africa, and southwest Virginia.

Not all of us have a large platform to spread the good news of Christ. But each one of us has a reach. What are you doing with yours?

The Falkner family works together as a unit, and independently to do what it takes to make Youth Sports Camp happen in Big Stone Gap, VA. They can be found in the kitchen creating meals to feed a hungry mass, establishing order by directing traffic, making people feel loved and welcome with warm smiles and greetings, or spending quality time with kids on the playing field.

Their reach may appear small to our eyes, but each act of love has a huge ripple effect that only His eyes see the full extent of.

Bringing Hope to Families Across Romania

Strong communities begin with strong families.

Through our partnership with Project Ruth, HOPE supports a holistic approach that reaches children and their families. Mobile libraries bring books and learning opportunities to communities with limited resources. School meals ensure students can focus on learning instead of hunger. Dedicated social workers walk alongside families, helping them overcome challenges and connecting them with resources that create lasting change.

Every book delivered, every meal served, every tutoring session, and every family supported is another step toward breaking the cycle of poverty and creating lasting hope.

When the school day ends, the opportunity to learn continues.

HOPE partners with Project Ruth to bring an after-school program that provides a safe, encouraging environment where students receive homework assistance, tutoring, mentoring, and nutritious meals. It's a place where children build confidence, develop friendships, and discover that they are valued.

Every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and dream of a brighter future. Through HOPE's partnership with Project Ruth in Romania, students receive more than an education—they receive the support they need to stay in school and thrive.

Many families face economic challenges that make consistent school attendance difficult. By providing academic assistance, nutritious meals, and caring mentors, we help remove barriers that often prevent children from reaching their full potential.

Together, we're investing in lives, strengthening families, and building hope—one student at a time.
