Had a great time today with 14 Chapter members. Local course conditions really don't lend themselves to individual medal play. So, today we played skins and greenies in the 2-man alternate shot format allowing improvement.

The guys liked the format so much we're doing it again in a couple of weeks!

Seven PAGA of Kingsville Chapter members played in the 3rd Delegates Meeting in Laredo on October 27.

In the 1st Flight Jimmy Vera placed 5th with a Net Score of 75.

In the 3rd Flight Chuy and Gilbert tied for 2nd with another player also with a Net Score of 75.

In the 4th Flight Rudy tied for 3rd with another player also with a Net Score of 75.

Bobby had a Net Score of 91 in the 3rd Flight.
Arnold had a Net Score of 81 also in the 4th Flight.
Mando had a Net Score of 86 also in the 4th Flight.

We had a good time. The Laredo Chapter did a very good job in putting together their 1st National Tournament.

Reminder that the next National Tournament is the Winter Meeting hosted by the Alice Chapter on March 28, 29, and 30. We need to help our brother chapter as much as we can by having at least 12 to 15 players.

PAGA of Kingsville chapter monthly tournament on Sat, Sep 1 at Gabe Lozano. First tee time is 9.24.

Format is individual stroke play with full handicap. Buyin is $25 plus green and cart fee.

Good turnout at today's tournament in Alice. Eleven players from Kingsville were joined by Sone Anzaldua from the Alice chapter.

Another tournament scheduled for tomorrow also in Alice at noon. Play if you can.

Golf on Friday at 9am in Alice. $40 donated by Big House BBQ, $70 if more than 10 players show up. $11 dollar buy in. Payout to winners at Big House BBQ after golf.

2016 Winter Meeting in Harlingen is scheduled for March 31, April 1 and 2. Tournament is on April 2. We have eight members attending: Rudy Gonzalez, Chuy Rodriguez, Jose Badillo, Miguel Badillo, Albert Reyna, Rene Bazan, David Reyes, and Benny Reyes. Based on current handicaps and prior tournaments; Chuy will be in the 1st Flight, Rudy, Jose, Miguel, David, and Albert will be in the 2nd Flight, Rene, and Benny will be in the 3rd Flight. This is just a guess. Final flight assignments won't be available until March 15 earliest. Good Luck!
