🇺🇸 Memorial Day Holiday Events — Monday, May 25 🇺🇸

Scouts are not required to attend, but your participation would be greatly appreciated. Please wear your Class A or Class B uniform.

Schedule of Events:

8:00 AM — Lulu Falls
Memorial Day Service

⭐ 9:00 AM — Gageville Cemetery
Flag Raising Ceremony
This is the event we would especially like Scouts to attend if possible, as we have been invited to raise the flag.

10:00 AM — Kelloggsville Parade
The parade will start at the church and end at the cemetery. Scouts may join in the parade if they would like.

Thank you to all of our Scouts and families who are able to come out and help honor those who gave their lives in service to our country. 🇺🇸

Cub Scout Family Camp Out Tomorrow!

Tomorrow evening is our yearly Cub Scout overnight family camp out with the Boy Scouts.

📍 Location: Fellowship Hall
🕕 Time: 6:00 PM

The Boy Scouts will be providing dinner, and the Cub Scouts will be making Hobo Pies!

Please take a look at the weather before coming, especially the overnight temperatures. The forecast is looking cool overnight, so please pack accordingly with warm layers, sleeping gear, and anything needed to stay warm and dry through the night.

Note: An adult family member must be present to represent any Scout staying overnight.

As a suggestion, families may also want to bring chairs to make the evening a little more comfortable.

We’re looking forward to a great evening of food, camping, and fellowship!

Scouts will meet this evening at 6:00 PM at the Fellowship Hall.

Tonight, we’ll be learning the proper and respectful way to retire the American flag. This is an important lesson in honoring our country, our flag, and the values it represents.

*Parents, as this will be outside, feel free to bring a chair if you desire to sit :)

**We are aware that voting is happening today as well. Historically we've made it a point to not have Scouts on voting days however this evening will be an exception as the Scouting season is winding down, and rescheduling some items is becoming harder to do. If you are able to make it, we'd love to see you**

🌱 Scout Meeting Tonight! 🌱

We’re excited to welcome our guest, Susan Westlake, who will be joining us from the Soil and Water Conservation of Jefferson Ohio!

Tonight’s activity: Making Seed Balls 🌼🌿
Scouts will learn about conservation and how we can help support local ecosystems in a hands-on, fun way.

🌊 Beach Cleanup Night! 🌊

📍 Location: Conneaut Beach Parking Lot (below the gazebo, to the left of the concession stand)
🕕 Time: 6:00 PM

Join us tonight as we help clean up the beach and take care of our community!

🌤️ The weather will be in the low 60s—warmer than yesterday—but be sure to dress in layers. The wind coming off Lake Erie may add an extra chill.

Bring your energy and let’s make a difference! 💪🌎

We’re meeting at the Kingsville Elementary School playground pavilion at 6:00 PM.

Tonight we’ll be learning about nutrition and enjoying some recreational activities, including group games and outdoor play 🏀⚽
