JLF SEPTEMBER MEMBER SPOTLIGHT 🌟

Each month, the Jason Los Foundation is proud to recognize a member outside of our Board of Directors who goes above and beyond to help advance our mission.

This month, we are honored to spotlight Kelli Szczybor!

Kelli is an integral part of our JLF Grief Support team, serving as a liaison to families who reach out to us for assistance following a sudden loss. As a Certified Grief Educator, Kelli is an incredible resource, meeting with families and offering compassion, guidance, and support during some of the most difficult times in their lives.

Kelli’s own experience with the loss of her son, Ryan, fueled her passion for helping others and led to the creation of the incredible Angel Park and The Ryan Foundation. She also helps lead a local grief support group in her community, continuing to make a meaningful difference for families navigating loss.

Kelli, thank you for your dedication, compassion, and heart. We can’t say enough about the time and commitment you give to helping others. We are incredibly grateful for all you do for JLF and throughout our community. ❤️

🎨 PAINT NIGHT WITH JLF! 🎨

After their first day of school, the kids at the St. Vincent de Paul Shelter had the opportunity to relax, unwind, and get creative with a special Paint Night led by JLF Board Director Catie Maskell! ❤️

The kids put their creativity to work painting beautiful oil pastel “window panes,” and the evening was a huge hit! 🖌️🎨

A special thank you to our amazing teen volunteers who gave their time to help make the night so much fun for the kids. We love seeing our youth come together to serve others and make a difference in our community!

Come out tonight and support the Blake Elliott 3 Foundation for the inaugural Blake Elliott Memorial Cup

Baltimore soccer comes together for something bigger than the game. 💚

Tonight, UMBC and Loyola Maryland meet in the inaugural Blake Elliott Cup, honoring the life and legacy of Blake Elliott through the sport she loved.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Blake Elliott Foundation, supporting youth and families, youth athletics, kindness and acceptance, and animal care and safety. (University of Maryland, Baltimore County⁠)

Please keep this family in your prayers. In the wake of tragedy, this family is establishing a scholarship in Karoline’s name to support organizations that work to prevent domestic abuse and assist those affected by it.
