📅 This Past Tuesday at 7 PM on August 5, 2025

It was a privilege to welcome a representative from Congressman Gonzalez’s office to the Elks Lodge for their first meeting of the month.

🇺🇸 He honored the Kingsville Elks Lodge with a United States flag that flew over the Capitol in Washington, D.C., accompanied by a heartfelt letter of appreciation recognizing our dedication to patriotism and the impactful charitable work we carry out in our community.

👏 A heartfelt thank you to the Pack/Troop/Venture 147 Scouts, whose support is invaluable to the Elks Lodge patriotic events. We proudly joined them for the presentation and photo.

We are grateful to everyone who contributed to this inspiring moment for the Elks Lodge and our community.

• Friday, July 4, 2025
• Line-up: 9:30 AM at Kleberg County Courthouse
• Parade Kick-off: 10:00 AM

📍 Route:
• Starts at the Courthouse → down Kleberg Ave → Alarcón St → Downtown Pavilion
• General Parade participants launch from the Kleberg County Courthouse

👕 Dress Code: Field uniforms, Cub Scouts & Scouts, march with your leaders & parents, and show your American pride!

🚩 Flags Only: No unit banners, let’s shine as one district!

🌡️ Stay Cool: The South Texas sun is hot; bring water and stay hydrated!

🎉 After-Party: Celebrations & award announcements at the Downtown Pavilion

Let’s make this Independence Day unforgettable. See you on the parade route! ⭐️🇺🇸

Join us as we celebrate Scout Sunday at two Catholic churches in Kingsville!

⛪ 8:00 AM Mass – St. Gertrude Catholic Church (1120 S 8th St.)
⛪ 10:00 AM Mass – St. Martin Catholic Church (715 N 8th St.)

⚜️ Attire: Field Uniforms (AKA: Full Class A)

Scout News – A Scout is Reverent.
Scouting America will honor Scout Sunday on February 2nd, a tradition recognizing the founding of Scouting in the U.S. on February 8, 1910. Scouts will attend Mass in their Class A uniform, celebrating a legacy of service, faith, and character.

Hey, Scouting Units & Families! Prepare for an unforgettable night under the stars at the Venado District Javelina Campout! Pack your bags and bring your adventurous spirit for a weekend of fun, fellowship, and community service.

🗓️ Event Details: 📅 Date/Time: Saturday, November 16, 2024, at 2:00 pm - Overnight until Sunday, November 17, 2024, ending at 8:00 am
📍 Location: Javelina Stadium, Texas A&M University-Kingsville
💰 Cost: Free!

🎒 What to Bring: To support our community, please donate canned goods to the Javelina Care Closet, helping those in need. 🌽🫘

⛺ Pack Your Camping Gear! Make sure you’re ready for the adventure with everything you need to enjoy an overnight campout at Texas A&M University-Kingsville!
