Yesterday evening at our February Coastal Bend Civitan meeting, we were deeply honored to recognize our local clergy in celebration of Clergy Appreciation Month.

We had the privilege of expressing our heartfelt gratitude to Pastor Bubba Stahl of First Baptist Church. Pastor Stahl has been a steadfast supporter of our club and its mission—consistently prayerful, encouraging, and generous with his time and wisdom. We are profoundly thankful for his faithful stewardship of the congregation God has entrusted to his care.

We also celebrated Gary Eulenfeld, our dedicated Coastal Bend Civitan Club Chaplain. Gary’s consistent prayers, thoughtful leadership, and unwavering commitment guide our club ever closer to God’s purposes through the spirit of Civitan service. We are truly grateful for the spiritual strength he brings to our fellowship.

Finally, we were delighted to honor the remarkable women who stand beside these men—their wives. Their love, sacrifice, devotion, and quiet encouragement make so much possible. We are especially thankful to Marsha Miller for her beautiful, handcrafted Huggies, a touching and personal gift presented to each wife in appreciation of their vital role.

We are sincerely grateful for these men of faith, their devoted partners, and the light they bring to our community. Thank you for your service, your prayers, and your example.

What a joyful day we had this past Saturday, December 13th, at our Very Merry Christmas 2025 event!

More than 30 wonderful children and their families joined us for an afternoon filled with holiday cheer. The kids had an absolute blast taking photos with Santa and his cheerful elf, decorating Christmas cookies, creating festive crafts, coloring holiday scenes, playing in pup tents, and getting beautiful face painting done by the talented local artist Ray's.Creations.

We are deeply grateful to all the families who came out to celebrate with us — your smiles and energy made the day truly special.

The Coastal Bend Civitan Club had such a wonderful time spreading Christmas spirit alongside our amazing friends with special abilities and their loved ones. Moments like these remind us of the true magic of the season.
