Having cancer felt like I had an incendiary device set to go off of its own will. It took months to resolve. I've side lined my 2 girls medical serious issues and I've had a few of my own. For me.. mine would heal in time.
This has been a non-stop nightmare freefall with Cancer running the show.
My first biopsy was contaminated by my intake of Biotin. I needed it to restore my hair after Covid and Paxlovid.
The second biopsy came in Friday with the news that the nodules on my thyroid are encapsulated cancer, small enough to wait on. We will check again in a year. The doctor isn't worried.
I am really good at worrying!! Cancer made me sit in the psychological washer machine's Spin Cycle. I'm doing my danged best to turn it off and get back to normal.
On the next turn past the k**b... I'm gonna smack it OFF and go to the taqueria for a pumpkin empanada to celebrate lasso-ing the fear.
Just the same. I stayed strong where I needed to be and I rejected BS and defended myself knowing my limits. There is metal and courage to me, instilled by my faith in the good and the caring around me. Even though my ID was spinning, I stayed focused and didn't falter much. The magnificence of the capacity of the Introvert's mind. We are the duck... calm on the water.. ..paddling furiously!
