Chris Rowland joins Williamsburg Academy as the new Head Boys Basketball Coach. A native of Paxville, Coach Rowland attended Laurence Manning Academy, where he was a three-sport athlete. He later earned a Bachelor of Science in Horticulture from Clemson University and spent six and a half years working in professional sports field installation and maintenance. In 2019, he returned home to be closer to family. His coaching journey began in the summer of 2022 when Coach Furse gave him his first opportunity on the sidelines at LMA. For the past two years, Coach Rowland has been at East Clarendon, gaining valuable experience and developing young athletes. He is excited for the opportunity to join the Williamsburg Academy family and work with players to develop their skills on the court. Boys, this is a great opportunity to work with and get to know our new Boys Basketball Coach, Chris Rowland. Come improve your skills, compete, and learn from Coach Rowland and our staff.

Girls, whether you’re new to volleyball or looking to sharpen your skills, this camp is a great opportunity to learn, compete, and have fun with your teammates and coaching staff.

All campers should wear athletic clothing, appropriate athletic shoes, and bring a water bottle. The cost is $75 per camper. We are looking forward to a great week of camp!

Our Middle School Girls Basketball Camp was a huge success! 🏀 Thank you to everyone who came out and made it such a fun few days.

Now it’s the boys’ turn! Join us for the Middle School Boys Basketball Camp at KFBC June 2nd-4th from 1:00 PM–4:00 PM. We can’t wait to see you there!

Williamsburg Academy will host a volleyball skills & training camp for middle school girls (rising 6th-8th graders) June 2nd-4th, led by head volleyball coach Will Epps.
Due to ongoing gym renovations on campus, the camp will be held at Kingstree First Baptist Church in the Family Life Center. Camp sessions will run daily from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
The cost is $75 per athlete. Participants should wear athletic clothing, knee pads, and volleyball-appropriate tennis shoes.

Williamsburg Academy offices will be closed through May 29th. Summer office hours will begin Monday, June 1, and will be Monday–Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

It is with heartfelt sorrow and profound sympathy that we mourn the loss of one of our rising 6th graders, Julia Tims. Julia was a beacon of light to all who knew her, and she will be deeply missed by her Williamsburg Academy family. Please keep her family, friends, and our school community in your prayers.
