Chris Rowland joins Williamsburg Academy as the new Head Boys Basketball Coach. A native of Paxville, Coach Rowland attended Laurence Manning Academy, where he was a three-sport athlete. He later earned a Bachelor of Science in Horticulture from Clemson University and spent six and a half years working in professional sports field installation and maintenance. In 2019, he returned home to be closer to family. His coaching journey began in the summer of 2022 when Coach Furse gave him his first opportunity on the sidelines at LMA. For the past two years, Coach Rowland has been at East Clarendon, gaining valuable experience and developing young athletes. He is excited for the opportunity to join the Williamsburg Academy family and work with players to develop their skills on the court.
