Recent July afternoon spent at Elm Bank in Wellesley, location of the Massachusetts Horticultural Society. I walked through a glorious, sunny garden in full-bloom. Definitely worth a visit.

Mark your calendars for Sunday, June 14. Stop by the Roslindale Native Plant Giveaway from 2:00-4:00 p.m. Donate a plant, pick up a plant! Natives only, please. In addition to the plant exchange, this year there will be live music and a bunny petting zoo. Some neighborhood kids will host a lemonade and ice cream stand, so bring some cash. :-)

I went to a the Kinney Azalea Gardens today, located in Kingston, RI. It has the feeling of a walk in the woods surrounded by flowering shrubs. There are a fair amount of lovely azaleas and rhododendrons still blooming. Definitely worth a visit!

Hosta Farm of Mendon has an excellent and extensive selection of hosta. They are open limited days in the summer. Check it out!

This Saturday (May 23rd) we will be OPEN 8am-4pm.
A self-guided garden tour is always available, but we are also hosting a Scavanger Hunt!
There is a list of items found in the gardens (some plants, some not), match up each item with the garden it can be found in for a chance at a $25 Gift Certficate!
We will collect your answers, grade them and anncoune the winner with the highest score after our Hosta Day. A tie will result in a drawing.
Do at your own pace and enjoy! and reminder: no purchase required for entry!

Our Annual Plant Sale is “around the corner” on SATURDAY, MAY 16, 10am - Noon on the Common, 3 Uxbridge Road, Sutton.
We are busy digging up and dividing perennials for the Sale and all our usual related offerings will be there - find some great stuff at our Silent Auction and the tables of garden/gift items offered by SGC Members and local businesses.
Proceeds from our Plant Sale fund our Community efforts, including maintenance of the Bandstand gardens. Right now, our Bandstand gardens are showing off beautiful spring tulips. See also our SGC website,
