On behalf of our host, Kenny Easley, Dr. Paul A. Stoot, Sr, and Clearwater Casino Resort & White Horse Golf Course, we would like to extend our appreciation for the support and participation in our "Amazing" 2022 GTA Celebrity Golf Classic. It was two days of fun, and golf to help raise funds and awareness of all the fantastic work that is taking place on the campus of Rise Up Academy. With the support from ALL of our friends we can continue to make investments in the lives of our children that will impact them for years to come.

The event brought together former NFL, NBA, MLB and MLS athletes along with other notable celebrities. The 2022 celebrities included NFL Hall of Famers Ronnie Lott and Eric Dickerson along with former NFL stars Christian Okoye, Jordan Babineaux, Alonzo Mitz, Randall Morris, Eugene Robinson, former Seattle Mariner Brian Hunter, Seattle Sounders alum includingKasey Keller and Marcus Hahnemann. Other notable participants included Legendary Sports Agent Leigh Steinberg, Seattle Kraken GM Tod Leiweke, and Omarosa Newman (Celebrity Apprentice). Additionally, we were fortunate to have Kenny’s teammate from UCLA, Larry Lee and the Back in the Day Band as our entertainment for the Thursday night concert! The band has played at numerous NFL events including Kenny Easley’s Enshrinement Party in 2017!

We are also inviting everyone to join us in our next event to support Rise Up Academy, celebrating 23 years of Academic Excellence for an evening of fun and entertainment to support our children for our Gala & Auction Event. Join us at the Clearwater Casino and Resort and White Horse Golf Course in Kingston, Washington for our 11th Annual GTA Celebrity Golf Classic and spend two days of activities designed to raise awareness and support for the invaluable Early Learning and After School programs at Greater Trinity Academy (now Rise Up Academy).

While we were unable to hold our tournament in 2020, and our tournament last year was scaled back, we are looking forward to being back fully this year
Along with our host Kenny Easley, former Seattle Seahawk and member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, we are expecting a full slate of celebrities including Pro Football Hall of Fame Enshrinees Ronnie Lott, Eric Dickerson and Walter Jones. Other celebrities include Christian Okoye and local legends such as Randall Morris, Alonzo Mitz, Jordan Babineaux, Brian Hunter and many more.

The Academy is comprised of children from a wide range of ethnic backgrounds. Some of the children have experienced significant learning difficulties, but at the Rise Up Academy, we are committed to addressing the challenges any child faces.

Our school has served over 1,500 students in the greater Everett community during its first 23 years of operation. We want to double that number in the next ten years! Raising support is essential to help us achieve this goal.

Please join us in a celebration of community service and help us to keep the doors open for children who need a safe, structured educational environment with the confidence to say, “I Can Learn Anything!”
