We are open three Sundays per month at Saint James United Methodist Church, which is located at Fair & Pearl Streets in Kingston, NY.

Did you know that September is Hunger Action Month for Feeding America?

Feeding America is the nation's largest domestic hunger-relief organization, operating a massive network of over 200 local food banks, including the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York which serves Ulster County and surrounding areas.

Help Happy to Help Food Pantry fight hunger (as well as fighting the other many needs of our clients) by considering purchasing an item off of our Amazon Wishlist! These items help us supplement the items provided by Feeding America and the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern NY!

Happy to Help Food Pantry was gifted a supply of backpacks (containing some school supplies) to give out to our wonderful community!

If you are in need of a backpack for your child or children, please comment below. You will need to make arrangements to PICK UP before the end of the week so that the kids have the items in time for school.

If you have shopped the pantry in 2026 we can use the information on file for the number of children you are picking up for. If you have not shopped with us in 2026, the child/children will need to be present in order to get a backpack/supplies!

We will be cross referencing with other organizations who have given out backpacks/supplies to make sure that these are going to those individuals who have yet to receive any help!

As the number of people that we serve continues to grow we need the support of the community more than ever! So many of the clients that we serve are in need of quick, ready to eat items as they may not have a kitchen to cook in or may be relying on a microwave to cook their meals! Please help us make sure that our shelves are stocked with all of the needed items that our clients request!
