Starkim is using art to help young people in Newburgh process trauma, feel heard, and see more possibilities for their future. After serving 25 years in prison, Starkim came home committed to sharing what helped him heal and grow. Thank you to everyone who came out for the Mashup at the amazing RMV Cellars. This gathering of locals, creators, and doers is always such a special mix of familiar faces and new connections.

There are unexpected conversations. Projects that somehow find each other at exactly the right time. Little synchronicities that make you stop and think, of course we were supposed to meet.

The buzz of energy and kindness fills my heart every time. I leave thinking about the people I didn’t expect to meet and the inspiration that keeps fluttering around afterward.
