Josayne Anderson-Tejera helps young people see what’s possible beyond their immediate surroundings. Through The Love Quest Foundation in Poughkeepsie, she combines hands-on work experience, travel, and college readiness with education about healthy relationships, drawing on her own experience with intimate partner violence.

Close to five years ago, we filmed their team and local partners building gardens across Kingston for our HUDSY Original, The Garden Bed Project. Through Celebrating the African Spirit, her work gives future generations a fuller, more honest foundation for understanding the community they inherit.

WOW! We've officially hit 200 of the 250 Acts of Positive Change filmed - and it was our talented friend Laura deNey from Flicker Filmworks! We're in the home stretch! Thank you to everyone who has come out from across the Hudson Valley to participate so far! We still have a couple more pop-up filming locations in the works - so keep an eye out as we work to complete this monumental community project! One animal rescuer left the Hudson Valley for Poland and Ukraine and came home after rescuing 96 animals caught in the war.

When Russia invaded Ukraine in 2022, Hervé Breuil, Shelter Director at Woodstock Farm Sanctuary, asked for two weeks off and went to help. In 'Do Something', Hervé shares what pushed him to act, what he encountered along the way, and how one decision to stop watching from afar became a mission to help animals and people caught in the middle of war.
