Sojourn URI We believe life and faith are a journey, and we're all figuring it out. We ask good questions, serve others, and have a lot of fun along the way. 1.

Community - We think life is better together. Each week we gather to solely have fun. We do this by playing volleyball, capture the flag, laser tag, movie nights, christmas parties, etc.


2. Justice- We believe people have value not based on what they do but who they are. That is why we serve monthly in order to live out this passion in our lives.


3. Faith- No matter if you have been a believer

all your life or have never stepped foot in a church, we all have questions about life. We gather every Tuesday night at 8pm to discuss what it is that God wants from our lives and to seek these questions together.

Our sojournURI leadership retreat!

We spent the day figuring out how to move closer to the vision set before us… one student, one event, one conversation at a time.

The vision we rallied behind. ⬇️

We exist to point students to something deeper—
to move beyond surface-level living and into the life that is truly life.

We want to see the culture of a campus changed—not through noise or pressure, but through a community that actually looks different.

Sojourn is a haven…
not to escape the world, but to experience what the world could be.
A place where questions come naturally,
where thinking deeply is the norm,
and where following Jesus isn’t assumed—it’s wrestled with, explored, and lived out.
A place where being challenged is expected,
but love is the default.
Where your peers want the best for you—
not just what is easy, comfortable, or fun.
Sojourn is a community that invites each other to take steps toward Jesus—
not just in belief, but in action, priorities, and identity.
Where hope is spoken out loud.
Where value is given freely.
Where smiling comes easy.
Where joy isn’t forced—but somehow shows up often.

This should feel different.
Even a little odd.
Because it is.
Sojourn is an outpost for the Kingdom of Heaven—
a glimpse of what life looks like when faith is actually taken seriously.
And from this place, we go—
bringing that same depth, hope, and love
into every corner of campus.

Now let’s go live it!

Wherever you go next, don’t just fit in… build something.
Create spaces where people feel seen, known, and safe to be real.
Be the one who goes first—who asks questions, who listens deeply, shows up consistently, and brings others along.

The world doesn’t need more isolated success stories.
It needs people who know how to create godly communities.

So go—into classrooms, teams, cities, and workplaces—
and build what you wish existed.
