Friends, I don’t usually share things like this, but today I’m asking for your help.
During the Christmas holidays, my wife and her mother traveled to Accra to visit family. What was meant to be a joyful trip turned into tragedy when they were involved in a terrible accident. My wife suffered severe injuries, went through two major surgeries, and endured weeks in the hospital before beginning her long road to recovery. By God’s grace, her mother was spared from physical harm and has been her rock through it all.
As many of you know, I’m a high school teacher. My salary, along with the incredible generosity of family and friends, has helped us cover much of the cost. But the remaining medical bills and the expenses for their journey back home to Tennessee are beyond what we can manage alone.
That’s why I’ve set up a *GoFundMe campaign to raise $25,000*—$20,000 for medical care and $5,000 for transportation. Every donation, no matter how small, will make a difference in lifting this burden from us and helping my wife heal without the weight of debt overshadowing her recovery.
