Registration is now open for the RI 4-H Horse Show at Journey's End Farm! All ages and experience levels welcome. The show will be held on Sunday, June 7 starting at 9am and will be judged by Camille Pepin. See the attached class list for details and register for the show here:

Important Info for Big E applicants:
1. This is the first qualifying show of the season! You will also have the opportunity to qualify at the SRI 4-H Fair horse show. If you absolutely cannot make either date, please contact the state office ASAP.
2. Remember that horse verification/lease forms must be submitted by May 1. RI ESE applications must be submitted by August 1. Find links to all these forms on the RI ESE webpage.
3. If applying as a Teen Leader, you MUST reach out to a horse show superintendent and provide documentation of helping out at a qualifying show.

Date/Time: Sunday, June 7 starting at 9:00am Place: Journey's End Farm (326 Nipmuc Rd, Foster, RI) $50 all-inclusive entry fee. Please bring cash or check to the show. Make out checks to the RI 4-H Club Foundation.

This past weekend The 4-H Planet Protectors and the Cornerstone 4H Crew went to the Johnston and Woonsocket Tractor Supply Companies and raised awareness of 4-H! Tractor Supply is running the 4-H Paper Clover drive right now, proceeds will go back to the Rhode Island 4-H Club Foundation! Great job 4-Hers!

Hunt River Watershed Community Workshop, 2026, starting April 28!

The Hunt River watershed supplies water for about 30,000 people! The workshop is an opportunity to make connections & share your experience of the watershed while learning more. Enjoy four weeks of learning and discussion about greenspace, transportation, and water management in the area, and meet for walking exploration of different areas in the watershed that connect to our interests. We will be making a map of the watershed that can be used to teach youth and new community members about navigating and finding nature in the area! Meetings are at Davisville Free Library, 6-8 PM, April 28, May 5, 12, 19, and 26. Your choice of field trips on: Fridays, May 1 and 15, 4:30 - 6:30 PM and/or Saturdays, May 2 and 16, 9:30 - 11:30 AM If you can join for most, but not all events, that’s fine.
