Hello Brethren,
It goes without saying that year 2020 has been a very trying, troubling, disappointing, depressing and frustrating year.
Union Lodge #38 would like to extend its appreciation and say thank you to Past Master Adam Gallaher and the 2020 lodge officers for all they did to help lead and guide the lodge in the right direction during all the turmoil throughout the year.
We know that the Past Master and officers had high expectations for 2020 and were planning on doing great things for the lodge. It is disappointing that Past Master Gallaher and the 2020 lodge officers did not have the opportunity to complete their goals due to the COVID pandemic.
I speak for the lodge when I say, we know the compassion and love each of you have for the Brotherhood and we know you would have been successful in completing your goals for the lodge if it wouldn't had been for the pandemic.
Thank you Brethren for everything you were able to do for Union Lodge #38.

Good evening Brethren, I need to inform you that Worshipful Master Gallaher of Union Lodge 38 has cancelled our August 3rd stated meeting due the continuing concern of COVID 19. Also, he has cancelled practice for Tuesday the 4th. As we have expressed in the past, our number one goal in the uncertain times we are currently living in, is to do our part and keep our brothers and their families safe. Be smart and stay safe my brothers!

Good evening Brethren,
With the greatest disappointment, I need to inform you that Union Lodge's 2020 Cave Degree has been canceled due to rapid and unforeseen changes in the COVID 19 pandemic. Tennessee Governor Bill Lee has mandated that there can be no gatherings greater than 50 people to try and prevent the spread of the COVID 19 virus, and our Grand Lodge respects and supports this decision.
Our number one goal as brother Masons, is to share brotherly love. And by doing that, it is our responsibility to help protect each and everyone of our brethren and their families. As the number of COVID 19 cases are again on the rise, Union Lodge would not be doing our due diligence if we hosted a mass number brother masons.
We deeply apologies and we are terribly sorry for any inconvenience as we know many of you have already made future plans to attend this event. This is completely out of our control. This is the first time in the history of our Cave Degree that it has been canceled. We were under the impression that things were getting better, and over the last few weeks, they seem to have gotten worse.
As many of us at Union Lodge discussed this evening, we pray for all brethren's health and safety, for them and their families as we move forward in these uncertain and trying times.
May Brotherly Love Prevail and may God Bless America!

Good evening Brethren,
Union Lodge 38 would like to update you on the 2020 Annual Cave Degree. With much discussion, we are excited to inform you that we have decided to move forward with this years Cave Degree.
This years Cave Degree falls on Friday 14th and Saturday 15th of August, 2020. On Friday 14th, the Masonic Lodge from New Jersey will be conferring an E.A. degree. Dinner will be served that evening, degree work will follow.
On Saturday 15th, breakfast will be served that morning. Union Lodge 38 will be conferring a Masters degree in the cave. Following the Masters degree, dinner will be served at the lodge. Brethren, again, this year we will be having live music at the lodge for more entertainment.
Brethren, we are asking that you please share this date with any and all Brethren that may not be on the Face Book friends list and did not receive the FB invite. Also Brethren, for the first time, this year we are asking that you please notify us on the FB page invite if you will be attending this special event.

Good evening Brethren,
Union Lodge 38 has normally already posted information pertaining to the 2020 CAVE DEGREE. As we all know, we are not in normal times.
Our Worshipful Master has received several phone calls asking questions about the CAVE DEGREE. Please be looking for updated news about the CAVE DEGREE. We will be sending CAVE DEGREE news out soon.
We deeply apologize for any inconvenience as we know many Brethren plan for this historic event months in advance.

Good evening Brethren, I happy to inform you that Union Lodge 38 will be having our June Stated Meeting this coming Monday, 6/1/2020 at 7:00. Also, the Most Worshipful Grand Master of Tennessee has lifted the ban on degree work under the following instructions;
1.) Observe restrictions in your local area and continue social distancing when all possible.
2.) Mask must be worn by conferring cast members or those in direct contact.
3.) Gloves must be worn by conferring cast members or those in direct contact.
4.) Hand sanitizer should be available and used by all.
5.) Temperature checks - obtain a non contact thermometer and everyone entering the lodge must be checked.
We encourage all Brethren to come and join us this Monday. Also, Brethren, please be looking for updates on the Union Lodge 38 2020 CAVE DEGREE.

Good afternoon Brethren, I am sorry to inform you so close to our May stated meeting, but I have been informed that Union Lodge 38 plans have changed and we "WILL NOT" be having our May stated meeting. We hope we can put all this behind us soon and get back to our regular schedule. Let me say again, we "WILL NOT" be having our May stated meeting.
