Delta Epsilon Mu is a professional pre-health co-ed fraternity with chapters all across the United States. At the University of Rhode Island, we are the Alpha Zeta Chapter with members full of leadership on health-based career paths, founded on May 3rd, 2015.

This week’s member of the week is Eta class member and Recruitment Parent, Cristina ()! Some of the reasons why Cristina is our member of the week is that she is doing an AMAZING job leading her PMs as a recruitment parent and she always brightens up the room when she walks in. Keep up the good work!

Our chapter’s very first member of the week for the semester is Theta Class member and Rush Parent Jake! ( ). Jake is a junior Biology and Psychology major and is on a pre-dental track. One of the reasons why Jake is our member of the week is because he is always ready to get involved in our chapter’s events and has done a great job helping out at recruitment events last week!

Happy Sunday! As the beginning of the semester rapidly approaches, our chapter would like to highlight some of the awesome things are members have been doing this summer. First, our Eta class member and current co-social chair, Manon () travelled to Belize with the C.E.L.A program where she learned about the practice of farm animal medicine and the production systems involved as well as assisted in spay and neuter procedures. The experience Manon gained here will serve her well as she intends to pursue a career as a Veterinarian! @ Belize

Our chapter is excited to announce that we will officially be taking a new member class, the Iota class, this fall! Our very first recruitment event will be next Wednesday, April 24th, in the second-floor gallery of the Memorial Union! We hope to see you there!
