Last night we hosted our first monthly exhibit opening and it was a huge success!

And this was just the beginning. Our new rotating exhibit “Women & Violence, Women for Peace” will be on view from now until September 30th. Come view it and the other amazing exhibits in our museum during our normal weekend hours:

Fridays 11-7
Saturdays 11-6
Sundays 11-4

Couldn’t make it in September? Don’t worry, we’re hosting opening receptions and revealing new exhibits on the first of every month! Join us and be the first to view new projects, engage in conversations with the creators and other peace-minded folks, and eat great food! Mark your calendars for October first where we will be unveiling our next exhibit “Indigenous Voices”

Our team was busy all day today getting ready for our exhibit opening on Tuesday!

We are holding our opening reception TOMORROW, SEPTEMBER 1st, from 5-7 PM. Join us for wine, lemonade, and light snacks, as well as the chance to be the first to explore the new exhibit, WOMEN & VIOLENCE, WOMEN FOR PEACE.

This Tuesday, September 1st from 5-7 pm, join us for a celebration of the opening of our first monthly rotating exhibition: WOMEN & VIOLENCE, WOMEN FOR PEACE

The exhibit will run through the month during normal operating hours. A bit more about what it covers:

“This exhibit explores the ways in which gender inequality has been shaped by historical, cultural, political, and religious systems, and how these structures continue to influence women’s lives today. From the roots of patriarchy and the war system to gender based violence, domestic abuse, the limiting of women’s rights, and the experiences of women during conflict, this exhibition examines the many forms violence can take.”
