Kyler Zachary Foundation The Kyler Zachary Foundation was established by our family in memory of Kyler, our son. Kyler was stillborn at 30 weeks gestation.

This foundation was created to spread kindness in Kyler’s name and to give to organizations that mean a lot to us.

4 trips to the dump and lots of miles picking up people’s junk… Justin has been BUSY! This was huge for our foundation. Fundraising has gotten trickier year after year & every little bit truly helps keep us going.

We made our rounds tonight picking up scrap metal to drop off along with the cans we’ve been collecting, and wow… did you guys show up!

Congratulations Grace Frederick on being awarded the 6th Annual Kyler Zachary Foundation Scholarship! Each year, this scholarship honors a student who reflects the values our foundation was built on — kindness, compassion, faith, family, and making others feel valued. Grace stood out not only for her academic achievements and future goals of becoming an OB/GYN, but for the genuine kindness she shows others every day through her school, church, and community. We are so proud to honor a student who truly leads with her heart and continues to remind others that kindness matters! 💙

And a special shout out to Jaiden for his amazing speaking skills tonight! His little brother in Heaven would be so proud! 🥰

Had to share this because God is so cool. 🤍

Justin’s sister came over tonight to help read through the Kyler scholarship applications. Our goal was to narrow it down to our top three and then have my aunt in Florida (someone we really trust for her unbiased opinion) help choose the final recipient because all of our close ties in this community make this HARD! We were FaceTiming her, going back and forth, deep in conversation… Meanwhile, my boys were getting tired and clinging to me whining…I was starting to feel annoyed…I just wanted to finish and be present with everyone but I finally got up & went to get them ready for bed. As I walked into their bedroom and looked out the window, there it was….the brightest, most beautiful rainbow. Everything made perfect sense…They weren’t interrupting us…they were trying to get my attention. They didn’t want us to miss it! We ran outside and were able to snap a few pictures before it disappeared just minutes later.

Call me crazy but rainbows have been our sign from Kyler from the beginning and the timing of this one, right in the middle of reading applications in his name, just feels too meaningful to be a coincidence! 💙👼🏻🌈

Seven years later & this still stops me in my tracks…

Sitting here with a stack of Kindness for Kyler scholarship applications, about to read through each one & it all feels just as surreal as it did the very first year.

Every page holds a story of kindness & kids choosing to show up for others in a world that doesn’t always make it easy. And the craziest part…. somehow, through all of this, Kyler’s name continues to live on in the most meaningful way just as I had hoped!

NONE of this would be possible without the incredible support we receive all year long. Thank you for your donations, your kindness & for believing in what this foundation stands for! 💙👼🏻
