💙 Our hearts are full. Thank you, Ulster County! 💙

It is difficult to put into words just how grateful we are for everyone who helped make this event such an incredible day for our community.

To our sponsors and donors, the businesses and organizations who participated, those who provided services and activities, everyone who set up a table, volunteered their time, helped behind the scenes, and every single person who came out with their family, THANK YOU. Your time, generosity, energy, and support are what made this day possible.

What meant the most to us was looking around and seeing so many different parts of our community come together for one reason: to support our local children and families. ❤️

In a world where we hear so much about what divides us, days like this remind us of everything that brings us together. Seeing neighbors helping neighbors, businesses supporting families, organizations working side by side, children smiling, and our community simply enjoying a day together was something truly special.

As members of the PBA, we are incredibly honored to have had the opportunity to help bring everyone together. Community events like this are about so much more than what is handed out or what activities are offered — they are about relationships, kindness, and showing people that their community cares about them.

We could not have done any of this alone, and we sincerely appreciate every person, business, organization, sponsor, donor, volunteer, and community partner who played a part.

And most importantly, thank you to all of the families who came out and spent the day with us. You are the reason we do this. 💙

The Ulster County Deputy Sheriff’s Police Benevolent Association’s 5th Annual Back to School Drive is happening THIS SUNDAY, August 30th, from 12 PM–3 PM at Barmann Park in Kingston! 📚✏️🖍️

We’re getting ready for an afternoon packed with FREE family fun and an opportunity to help local kids start the school year off right! 💙

🏀 Basketball tournament with Point God Academy
💈 Free haircuts for youth
🍦 Free ice cream from Mr. Ding-A-Ling
🎨 Face painting & glitter tattoos

Today we proudly celebrate 250 years of our nation’s history and honor the countless men and women whose courage, sacrifice, and commitment have preserved the freedoms we enjoy.

The Ulster County Sheriff’s Office PBA extends our sincere gratitude to all active-duty military members, veterans, and their families. Your service and dedication have helped safeguard the liberties upon which our nation was founded.

As communities gather to celebrate with family, friends, and fireworks, we encourage everyone to celebrate safely, look out for one another, and take a moment to reflect on those who made this day possible.

🔥 Carrying the Flame of Hope 🔥

Today, members of the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office were honored to participate in the Law Enforcement Torch Run (Kingston Edition) for Special Olympics New York alongside our brothers and sisters from other agencies.

The Law Enforcement Torch Run is more than just a run, it’s a powerful symbol of inclusion, support, and commitment to the incredible athletes of Special Olympics New York. Law enforcement officers proudly serve as the “Guardians of the Flame,” helping carry the Flame of Hope while raising awareness and support for athletes throughout our state.

A special thank you goes to Trooper Briana Gigante for organizing today’s event. Pulling together an event of this size in just one month is an impressive accomplishment, and your hard work, dedication, and leadership made it a tremendous success!

We’re proud to stand with our law enforcement partners and our Special Olympics athletes. Thank you to everyone who participated, volunteered, and cheered us on.
