🌪️ Tornado Safety Matters 🌪️

Severe weather can happen at any time, and tornadoes can form with little warning. Taking a few moments to prepare before a storm strikes can help protect you and your loved ones when every second counts.

Know where you will go if a warning is issued, stay informed through reliable weather alerts, and have a plan for your family. The safest place during a tornado is a basement, storm shelter, or an interior room on the lowest level of a sturdy building.

Being prepared today can make a big difference tomorrow. Stay alert, stay informed, and stay safe, Caldwell County!

Our team at work today in Hamilton. When MSQC expects a larger than normal crowd, we try to keep traffic flowing by gathering larger groups of quilters and then stopping traffic for them all to pass at once. Our goal is to keep traffic moving and keep quilters safe.

‼️⚠️Slow moving thunderstorms are expected to develop this afternoon into evening. Damaging winds and large hail will be the primary threats, though a tornado will be possible.

⚠️The greatest potential for severe weather both days will be north of I-70 in the afternoon and evening hours.

A heads up to everyone, CERT will be conducting traffic breaks and assisting MSQC with their event On wednesday and thursday.
