2026 was our largest Pinewood Derby to date, with:

Today the Ulster Police Department held off some tough competition at the Kingston Cub Scout Pack 11’s 2026 Pinewood Derby - Community Division. Thank you to Ruby Fire Department and NYS Office of Emeregency Management for the challenge.

On Friday, the pack held its annual Pinewood Derby Build Night! It’s so fun to see the cars start to come together, thanks to our awesome volunteers.

Come see all the finished cars and cheer on your favorites—next Saturday, February 7th at 10AM at the Hudson Valley Mall. We hope to see you there!

Pack 11 Scouts did a good turn tonight wrapping presents for Christmas Wishes Ulster County, Inc. The room was filled with giggles and joy!

Flame Bird Patrol (our Webelos and AOL Scouts) had an awesome day joining Troop 8 for their Veteran’s Day Hike! The Scouts hiked 4 miles along the Lake Onteora Trail, helped with trail and campsite clean-up, made hot cocoa on camp stoves, and practiced valuable outdoor skills like trail etiquette.

We wrapped up with Roses, Buds, and Thorns, and the Scouts all agreed—they’re excited for the next cold-weather hike!
