Troop 49 finished up a week at Camp Squanto where new scouts learned about how to properly handle a knife, ax, and saw, they took classes that covered cooking, first aid, swimming, and more! The older scouts learned about exploration, metalwork, space exploration, climbing, team building, and more!

The Troop came in 2nd in the Apache race around the camp and had a wonderful, activity-packed week and grew as individuals and as a Troop.

Would you like to support Kingston’s Troop 49 but you’re not really sure how? Join the Lions Club!

Troop 49 is fortunate to be chartered by the Kingston Lions Club, which is all about giving back to our community — supporting local causes, helping neighbors in need, providing scholarships, and making Kingston a better place to live. They’re the kind of people who quietly step up and make good things happen.

They’re looking for more members who want to help out, but it’s not a huge commitment. It’s a great way to meet people, support the community, and be part of something positive (and have some fun along the way!).

Please joining the Kingston Lions Club and helping continue the great work they do, including supporting Troop 49.
