Your Heart On Art, Inc Therapeutic art workshops encourage children, teens and adults to process their feelings they can’ Classes are about the method, not the masterpieces.

Your Heart on Art workshops are designed to evoke self-discovery and personal growth, which positively impacts a person’s ability to heal emotionally. The Art4Healing® techniques have helped thousands address feelings associated with illness, mental and physical abuse and other trauma. No previous art experience or skill is required. Participants experience the healthy, transformative benefits of art, learn the language of color and how to tell their stories without words.

The 988 Su***de & Crisis Lifeline is still available to support all individuals including the LGBTQIA2S+ population. Crisis counselors and specialists will continue to serve our LGBTQIA2S+ population. Anyone in crisis can call, text, or chat 988 24/7.

Another fabulous project completed. This one was created by about 600 people who left their marks on a canvas laid out at this years American Association for Suicidology conference in Columbus, Ohio. After they leave thier ideas I finished the canvas and wa-la. Another permanent piece to be hung for an organization that works hard at healing our world. Thank you for allowing me to share your space and allowing others to create.

Its that time again to start working on your CEUs for 2025.
Your Heart on Art will be offering 2 workshops approved by NASW for 3 credit hours where you can paint your way to self care. Registration is open for both sessions.
We are also offering the opportunity to bring a friend or if you are just curious to what we do, to attend these workshops without receiving the credit hours at a discounted rate.

A BIG thank you to the Birdwell Family Foundation for their generous support this year in the fight to help stop su***de. Their support allowed Your Heart On Art to do 10 large scale art events with those who have been affected by su***de. Here are pictures from the last large event held in Centennial Park by the American Foundation for Su***de Prevention. It was our 11 year helping to support their walk. The project this year was called "Carry them with you" and individuals created keychains/backpack clips.

In partnership with Jewish Family Services, Your Heart On Art, Inc had a great art gallery opening with pieces made through our Helping Hands Opening Minds through Art (OMA) program. Art show will be up for one month so please stop by have have a look. Having a cognitive disability like dementia does not inhibit the creative process.
