“I’m 40, and I want to leave something for my kids. I wasn’t taught anything or left anything. I want more for my kids”

Doing life together means real conversation. It means opportunity to speak life into people. It means opportunity to teach. It means opportunity for something different.

Today, while making progress at the Engage House Project, we taught framing basics, reading a tape measure, using a level, and more.

Our desire is to see lives changed. To see lives changed. Families restored. And generations pulled out of poverty.

Thank you to those who love, pray for, and support all God is doing.

Tonight, one of the residents saw us weedeating at the Engage Apartments and came outside. He watched for a few minutes so I stopped to talk. He said “Can I help you? I’ve never used a blower, but if you’ll show me, I’ll use it while you weedeat. Next time I really want to weedeat too.”

That is what gratitude truly looks like.

That is what life change looks like.

We cannot say Thank You enough to our friends and family from Indian Springs Baptist Church for all their hard work for their Be the Church day. So much progress made on the new Engage House. We just have to finish framing the exterior walls and will be ready for plumbing and electrical.

God is good 🙌🏼🙏🏻

We are getting ready to kick the rehab work on our next Engage House into high gear.

When we met Heather, she was a single mom living in her car. Her young daughter was staying with her parents so she would have e a safe place to stay.

She was working, but she had been unable to find a place for her and her daughter to live.

After moving into the Engage Apartments, she and her daughter are doing well. Heather is now engaged, and they are actively looking for a new place to live for their new family.
