Dear ISBC Family,

This has been a great week in the life of our church. We gathered this morning for worship and the Lord blessed our time together. We had 502 in attendance for our worship service. Praise the Lord!

This morning we voted on our Lead Pastor candidate, Pastor Drew Elgersma. We are excited to announce the results of our vote. We had 373 ballots cast. Out of those, 372 were a yes and 1 was a no. The vote was 99.7% yes, to call Pastor Drew Elgersma as our next Lead Pastor.

We communicated these results to Pastor Drew. He said, yes he will answer the Lord’s call to serve as our Lead Pastor! His official start date is September 14th in the office and his first Sunday in the pulpit as our pastor will be September 20th.

Please join us in praying for the Elgersma family and welcoming them to our church!

Not another Gospel Bulletin Galatians 1:1-10

Two marks of a gospel centered life.
1. A life anchored in the TRUE gospel.
THE TRUE GOSPEL
Who we are: Helpless and dead in our sin.
What Jesus did: Gave His perfect life in our place.
What the Father did: "Paid in Full" stamp giving us Grace and Peace.
Why God did it: God, rich in mercy planned your rescue.

2. A life alert to any OTHER gospel.
Two common distortions of the Gospel today.
Distortion #1 : Jesus as an Addition.
Distortion #2 : Jesus needs my help.

Jesus Alone is enough

Monday report from Big Sky Country: Please pray for our Advance Team today as they unpack and store supplies at Flathead Reservation. Pray for the rest of the team as we fly home. Pray for Erwin Holman who will pick us up in Knoxville. The Advance Team took this picture yesterday as they traveled.

Sunday from Big Sky Country: The teepees are down and we wrapped it up today at the powwow where we had a great time and shared the gospel with several people. We meet so many beautiful people. Our Advance Team headed back toward Missoula and the rest of us went back to our Airbnb to get ready to fly home tomorrow. Please continue to pray for each one who heard the gospel. Thank you Montana Indian Ministries for the opportunity to serve the Lord with you!!

Report from Big Sky Country: Today part of the team has done a little exploring and prayer driving. Here’s an example of what we’ve used (prayed) today. The advance team is set to arrive tomorrow with teepee and other supplies then we will set up camp at the powwow grounds. We are on Indian time. If you know you know. Please keep praying!! It’s been a cool 88 degrees today with very low humidity and light breeze.
