“The Third Saturday in October” is well known across the southeast as the day of the Tennessee/Alabama game.

This year the game has a special meaning for the DB Band program!

Today in Knoxville the Alabama Drumline is tapped off by section leader Ella Miller, Dobyns-Bennett High School Band class of 2023.

And the University of Tennessee “Pride of the Southland“ Drumline is tapped off by their section leader Eliott Baldwin, Dobyns-Bennett High School Band class of 2024.

Another example of how across our one hundred years D-B band students have excelled in university band programs across the country!
