🏆 Employer and Community Impact Award
The Employer and Community Impact Award is a new JAG National recognition honoring programs that connect JAG participants with meaningful opportunities in the local labor market.
These awards reflect the work of our students, employer partners, community organizations, school staff, and everyone who helps create opportunities for JAG students.
From work-based learning and career exploration to professional skill development and community partnerships, our goal is to help students overcome barriers and build a clear path toward employment, education, and long-term success.
We are proud of what our students have accomplished and grateful to the employers and community partners who continue to invest in them.

Dobyns-Bennett JAG Earns 6-of-6 Recognition

Proud to share that Dobyns-Bennett High School’s JAG program earned 6-of-6 status through Jobs for America’s Graduates.

The 6-of-6 recognition means our program met national performance goals in six key areas: graduation, employment, full-time employment, full-time positive outcomes, further education, and continued connection with students after graduation.
This achievement reflects the hard work of our students as they build career skills, set goals, complete meaningful experiences, and prepare for life after high school.

JAG students excelled during the WBL/JAG Gallery Walk, showcasing their professional skills while JAG Supply students distributed car air fresheners they had designed, created, and marketed as promotional items.

We are so proud of Braiden! He’s definitely a go-getter. Once he decided supply chain was his pathway, he poured everything into it. He is going to be so successful in life!

Our office proudly congratulates this year’s Dr. Frank Oglesby Vision Source Scholarship recipient, Braiden Miller. We are so excited to celebrate his achievement and all that lies ahead. Here are a few words from our newest graduate!

After graduation, I plan to focus on gaining as much experience as possible in the logistics and supply chain field. Over the next five years, I intend to pursue several professional certifications, including the CSCP, PMP, CLT/CPIM, SCPro Levels 1–3, and Lean Six Sigma (which I am currently working toward through JAG). These certifications will strengthen my knowledge base and enhance my qualifications for future leadership roles.

In addition to earning these credentials, I will actively seek internships and hands-on opportunities to build practical experience with the systems, technologies, and skills required in the industry. During this time, I also plan to attend ETSU, where I will study supply chain management with a concentration in leadership.
