Courtney was born fifteen weeks premature, weighing only 1 lb.
8 oz. She was in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit for a little over four months. My husband and I were beyond excited when we were able to bring her home. After eleven months of being home and healthy, Courtney got a really bad cold
that got her admitted in the Pediatrics Unit for almost two weeks,(she has done
this a total of four tim
es). During Courtney's stay in the NICU and in the Pediatrics
my husband and I spent countless hours by her side. Eating from the family kitchen
was very comforting to us because it was right down the hall from Courtney, so we
never had to leave her if we were hungry or just needed a late night snack. Filling
the famliy kitchen is a joy to our family. Knowing we are providing food for the
upcoming families and sick children is something we look forward to. Now that Courtney
is a very healthy, happy, six year old little girl who loves to give to others we are
helping her do just that by this charity. Courtney is very excited about what all we
can do for others. Our goal is to help as many as possible! If you would like to
