The Appalachian Highlands United Kids Training Academy kicks off this week, and registration is OPEN!

Designed for players ages 5–10, our Kids Training Academy provides a fun, positive environment where young players can build confidence, develop their soccer skills, and grow their love for the game.

What an incredible response for the upcoming season! ⚽🎉 We are currently at 467 registered players, and many of our recreational age groups are almost full!

Registration is still available until teams reach their roster limits. Current spots remaining:

⚽ U5-6 Girls: 1 spot
⚽ U7-8 Boys: 1 spot
⚽ U7-8 Girls: 14 spots
⚽ U9-10 Girls: 1 spot

Other age groups are still in need of volunteer coaches, and a few spots are being held for players whose families can provide a volunteer coach.

Our Tribe teams are proud to compete in the Tennessee Valley Soccer League against teams from across the region! ⚽️

For many of our players, Tribe is the first step in their soccer development pathway — providing an opportunity to develop their skills, experience a new level of competition, and continue growing as players and teammates.

Kingsport Rec Soccer is looking for volunteers to coach our U4 Coed players!

This is a great opportunity for students who need volunteer/service hours for:

🏆 Beta Club
🔑 Key Club
⭐ National Honor Society
🎓 TN/VA Scholars
…and other school service requirements!

📅 Saturdays beginning September 19
⏰ 9:30 AM–10:15 AM
📍 8-week season
👤 Must be 16 years or older
⚽ No soccer or coaching experience necessary!

Our U4 program is designed for players who are just beginning their soccer experience. We need enthusiastic, encouraging volunteers who can help little ones have fun, learn to play with others, follow simple directions, and enjoy being part of a group!

AHU is a nonprofit organization, and this is a great way to give back to your community while earning valuable volunteer hours.
