SMILE Foster Closet is a 501c3 that serves foster children. Simply loving everyone where they are & how they need it.

This mission has transitioned into serving the foster care community, what started as a small dream to bless others with our abundant blessings has become focused on helping the least of these in the community. With school out for the summer and many of our student teams on break, our volunteer numbers have taken a big hit—but the need for essentials for local children in care hasn't stopped!

We have some massive projects happening this week and need your hands to keep our operations running smoothly.

How You Can Help This Week:
Upcoming Volunteer Day (Saturday, June 6th): We need a strong crew to join us for a high-impact workday. Perfect for individuals, families, or small groups who want to make a big difference in a single morning!

In-House Sorting (Multiple Days & Times Available): Come into the SMILE House and help us sort through incoming donations to keep our inventory ready.

Portable Sort (Completely Flexible): Can't make our scheduled times? Swing by, grab a bag of donations, and sort them from the comfort of your own couch on your own schedule.

We have morning, afternoon, and weekend slots open to fit any schedule!

Happy ! This week, we are looking to restock our bedding shelves to make sure every child has a cozy, comforting place to lay their head.

At SMILE, we know Simple Methods In Loving Everyone often means providing a warm bed. A fresh comforter or blanket helps a child feel safe and settled during a big transition.

Current Needs (New or Gently Used):
Size: Twin bedding (comforters, blankets, and sheet sets).
Styles: Gender-neutral colors and patterns are highly preferred, but we will happily accept any styles you have!
Condition: Clean, stain-free, and ready to bring comfort to a child's new room.
