Our organization is run by a volunteer staff and operates on donations provided by businesses and members of the community. HHTN is a Christian based food pantry, clothing closet, and help center. We help with food clothing, household items, sometimes appliances and furniture. We do not care who you are, where you are from, nor do we discriminate due to your beliefs or sexual orientation. We belie
ve that by loving the clients who God sends us we can show them who Jesus is through our actions. Most of the clients that we help are single parents, elderly, or disabled. We also help those who have had their house burn down, are affected by some type of natural disaster along with those who are in abusive situations. In all these circumstances we try our best to give them seven changes of clothes for each person in their household, silverware, serving ware, pots, pans, cooking and eating utensils along with some furniture. If you come to us for help with something we normally do not do such as paying bills, then we will try our best to help you find an organization who helps in those circumstances. We will give you referrals so that you're able to reach out to try and get help with the items that you need. We feel that you need to try and help yourself in most circumstances that is why we give you referrals/ references and we do not call them for you. We are not funded by any church or organization but by the community through our yard sales, fund raising, and donations. Everyone here is a volunteer and no one gets paid to help the clients so 100% of what is raised is put back into the ministry.
