Tri-Cities Christian Academy Middle School Football Announces 2026 Schedule and Appalachian Mountain Conference Membership

KINGSPORT, Tenn. — Tri-Cities Christian Academy Football is proud to announce the 2026 Middle School Football Schedule as the program continues to build momentum and grow for the future.

Last year, TCA made history by fielding its first middle school football team. This year marks another exciting step forward as the Eagles join the Appalachian Mountain Conference, giving young athletes the opportunity to compete, develop, and represent Tri-Cities Christian Academy at a higher level.

The 2026 Middle School schedule includes eight regular-season games. The Eagles will open the season on Thursday, August 6, against Lakeway Christian Academy, another school within the Lakeway Christian Schools system.

A highlight of the schedule includes two games at William B. Greene Jr. Stadium at East Tennessee State University. TCA Middle School will play Hancock County on August 27 and Parrotsville on September 17 at Greene Stadium in Johnson City. The Eagles will also host two home games at Tri-Cities Christian Academy in Kingsport.

New Head Middle School Football Coach Tyler Brooks shared his excitement for the season and the direction of the program.

“I’m thankful to be able to coach young athletes again,” Brooks said. “I am very excited about the future and look forward to developing young athletes again at a higher level. I am sold on the vision of this program and look forward to a bright future. When you put God first in all that you do, you can never go wrong. Time to soar!”

The growth of the middle school program reflects the broader vision of TCA Football: to develop young athletes who grow in discipline, character, faith, and competitive excellence. With a strong foundation, conference membership, and opportunities to compete on a larger stage, the future is bright for TCA Football.

Tri-Cities Christian Academy Announces 2026 Varsity Football Schedule

KINGSPORT, Tenn. — Tri-Cities Christian Academy is excited to announce the 2026 TCA Eagles Varsity Football schedule, a season that marks continued growth, momentum, and a major step forward for the future of the football program.
The 2026 varsity season includes 11 games and reflects the continued growth of TCA Football, as the Eagles move closer to a full 11-man schedule with only two 8-man games remaining this season. The schedule features five home games, two games in Gatlinburg, Tennessee as part of the Black Bear Brawl, a Hall of Fame Game in Kentucky, and road matchups in Virginia and South Carolina.
As TCA prepares for the opening of its new $100-million, 240,000-square-foot campus in the Tri-Cities Crossing area, the Eagles will play the 2026 season during an exciting transition year. During this transition, East Tennessee State University has graciously given permission for TCA to use William B. Greene Jr. Stadium for four home games in 2026. Two of those Greene Stadium dates will also feature TCA Football double-headers, with the TCA Middle School Football team playing before the Varsity Eagles take the field. Beginning with the 2027 season, TCA Football plans to play home games at its new campus.

“This season is about more than a schedule,” said TCA Head Football Coach and Athletic Director Robbie Norris. “It represents growth, commitment, and the continued building of our football program from the middle school level through varsity. We are thankful for the opportunity to play at Greene Stadium during this transition and excited for what God is continuing to build through TCA Football.”
The 2026 season represents a meaningful step in the Eagles’ journey as the program continues to grow in numbers, competitiveness, and vision for the future.
