The Club will be closed on Monday, September 7 for Labor Day.
No child care will be provided.

📆Open for All-Day care from 7:30 am - 5:30 pm on Tuesday, September 8.
👉Transportation to the Boys & Girls Club from Scott County will still be provided on Tuesday, September 8 but kids will need to be picked up by 5:30 pm.

Thank you to everyone who came out for our first Lo' Country Boil!

It was a great turnout and we are so grateful to our community for supporting our Club and this event.
🙏🎉Special Thank You to all of our volunteers who helped us set up, cook all the incredible food, and clean up once the party was over and to our partners and sponsors who helped make this event possible!

This is the OFFICIAL post for our Sneaker Auction benefitting our Club.
🙏 Please read this post in its entirety for the Official rules for the Sneaker Auction

📆 The bidding starts today, Friday, August 14, 2026 at 12:00 pm (noon).
👉 The minimum first bid is $500 and MUST be made as a comment for this post (not any individual picture within this post).
👉 Additional bids must be in bid increments of a minimum of $50
👉 ALL bids MUST be made as a separate comment, and not as a reply to a previously listed bid from another individual.
📆 The bidding ends on Friday, August 21, 2026 at 12:00 pm (noon)

❗Determining the winner❗
The winner of the sneaker auction will be the LAST and HIGHEST bid that was posted before the 12:00pm (noon) bid closing per Facebook's timestamp (Eastern Time).
🌟The Boys & Girls Club of Greater Kingsport will comment on this post "Auction Closed" and will tag the valid Last and Highest bidder.

💲Payment and Delivery Terms💲
💬The auction winner will be notified on Facebook by DM
⏲After the winner is notified, they have 24 hours to contact or respond to the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Kingsport to schedule payment.

This is a win that's about 15 years in the making, Terry Duncan and his wife have been supporting the Boys & Girls Club Raffle each year for almost 15 years.
Every year, they both purchased a single raffle ticket, not only to support the work our Club does, but also in hopes of winning the top prize.
Well, their determination and commitment finally paid off! Terry and his wife are the proud owners of a brand new 2027 Red Corvette Stingray Coupe 1LT.

💙The Charles and Hazel Lindsay Internship Program💙
Yesterday evening, our club had the honor of recognizing the impact and legacy of two incredible individuals who gave so much to our Club.
The Charles and Hazel Lindsay Internship Program honors their legacy of giving back to Club kids and their investment into the future of our community, by supporting our teen summer internship program.

This incredible program gives Club teens the opportunity to gain valuable work skills and experience by placing them with local businesses to help them prepare for the work force.
Thank you to HBZ Sports Cards Your Kingsport Chamber Wheelhouse Print & Design for giving our Club teens the chance to grow professionally and for teaching them new skills.

Thank you to their daughter, Sharon, for brining her family and friends together to join our summer teen interns, their families, our board volunteers and our staff, to celebrate her parents legacy and launch this incredible program that will help build great futures for our club teens for many years to come.
