Have you spotted a wild turkey lately? TWRA wants to know!

Through the end of August, your observations can help biologists monitor wild turkey populations and estimate this year's nesting success across Tennessee. Reports from every corner of the state help us better understand how turkey numbers and productivity vary from region to region.

- A hen�
- A hen with poults (young turkeys)�
- Or a turkey you're unable to identify by s*x or age

Sad statistics.. The total voting-age population (residents aged 18 and older) is approximately 131,000 in Sullivan County, Tennessee, and about 42,004 citizen voting-age residents are in the city of Kingsport. Yes, part of Kingsport is located in Hawkins county also. Roughly 81% of Sullivan County's overall population is of adult voting age. How Many Voted in Kingsport today? 3993.
​So 4,000 voters represent about 8.8% of Kingsport's voting-age population.

Howdy

I left this out of the email this week.

There is going to be a hunters safety course held in person at Cherokee Rod and Gun Club from 7/27 through 8/1 from 6pm till 8:30 pm each day except Wednesday (no class on Wednesday) .

This Class is FREE. Kids must be 9 years old before class begins on the 27th . Preregister through the TWRAONTHEGO Mobile app or at the first night of class.
