GOOD SAMARITAN ✝️
I am constantly amazed at our Camden Missions Founder and Director, Pastor James Ham. On Sunday morning we received a Facebook message from a stranger who was sleeping in his car at the mission. He asked if there would be a worship service. I forwarded the message to Pastor Ham who jumped in his car and delivered a meal and gas to the stranded stranger. Earlier in the week, I snapped this photo as he was mowing the overgrown lawn of a elderly widow. Yesterday, I passed him on the road as he was headed to deliver meals to elderly and shut-ins. Recently, a young man told me his story. He was out of prison and homeless. Pastor Ham helped him find a job and he has turned his life around. He never stops, as many in our community smile and refer to him as the "Energizer Bunny". Always humble, he seeks no recognition as he quietly serves our neighbors in crisis. Thank you, Pastor Ham for being a wonderful example for all of us to follow.
